The two story “Koyukuk cabin” sleeps four. It has two private rooms on the second floor with a double bed each. The common area on the lower floor includes two single beds, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. (sorry, out of consideration for others, no smoking or pets inside).
In the morning we invite our guests into our home, the 1910 gold rush dance hall, for a hearty, home cooked Alaskan breakfast. SUMMER 2021: NO BREAKFAST Guests may choose to cook their own meals in the kitchenettes. Please keep in mind that we live very remote and far away from urban civilization including groceries/liquor stores, power plants, hospitals, cell phone coverage, etc.. Electric power is generated on site (solar, windmill, back-up generator), please inform us about special power needs.
What Our Guests Say
"You live in a lovely spot in Alaska. We have enjoyed our auto-tour and all your great tips on places to go and see! Next time we must make this spot a five day stop. I feel sorry for our next hosts, because we now have experienced the 'real' Alaska. Take care and see you in the next few years."
-Sincerely, Dellie Carter
