The two story “Koyukuk cabin” sleeps four. It has two private rooms on the second floor with a double bed each. The common area on the lower floor includes two single beds, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. (sorry, out of consideration for others, no smoking or pets inside).
In the morning we invite our guests into our home, the 1910 gold rush dance hall, for a hearty, home cooked Alaskan breakfast. Guests may choose to cook their own meals in the kitchenettes. Please keep in mind that we live very remote and far away from urban civilization including groceries/liquor stores, power plants, hospitals, cell phone coverage, etc.. Electric power is generated on site (solar, windmill, back-up generator), please inform us about special power needs.
What Our Guests Say
"You live in a lovely spot in Alaska. We have enjoyed our auto-tour and all your great tips on places to go and see! Next time we must make this spot a five day stop. I feel sorry for our next hosts, because we now have experienced the 'real' Alaska. Take care and see you in the next few years."
-Sincerely, Dellie Carter
