If you are planning an Alaska vacation, and prefer intimate places, and encounters with local Alaskans, then consider a visit with us at the Arctic Getaway. We offer classic Alaska accommodations in three rustic and cozy, furnished private cabins, each with a kitchenette. In the morning we invite our guests into our home, the 1910 gold rush dance hall, for a hearty, home-cooked Alaskan Breakfast. Guests may cook their lunch and dinner meals in the cabin kitchenettes. Please keep in mind that we live in a very remote region and far away from urban civilization including groceries/liquor stores, power plants, hospitals, cell phone coverage, etc.. Electric power is generated on site by photo-voltaic panels, windmill, and back-up generator; please inform us about special power needs. Limited internet available during breakfast (8:00-9:30) in the breakfast room.
