Many options exist for you to explore the beautiful Koyukuk river region.

The Gates of the Arctic National Park borders Wiseman to the west and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is a short drive to the north.

Both summer and wintertime recreational activities offer great discoveries and endless opportunities.
